October 22, 2004 Although, Dr. C did talk me into coming into work tomorrow to run anesthesia so she can do an exploratory surgery on a dog that has had vomiting and diarrhea for three weeks. I really don't want to go in on my day off. I just keep seeing the Metallica ticket floating in my mind, so..yeah, I couldn't say no. I think that was her plan all along. Sneaky isn't she? Lori from work decided that she really wanted a kitten to be a buddy for the cat she already has. She asked me if I was still looking for a home for Spawn. It was really tough, but I agreen to let her take Spawn. I know Lori is a really good home for the kitten, but I sure did get attatched to her. I ended up bringing Mambo, an older cat from the clinic, home in her stead. Mambo has been up there for about three months with no one interested in him. I just fell in love with him when he first came up there, and I have been debating taking him ever since. I decided on Wednesday that it was time for him to come home with me. He is the sweetest cat I have ever met. He loves to give hugs. He will climb on your chest and put a paw on each side of your neck, and then stick his head under your chin and purr. He follows me around like a dog. He's got a nasty upper respiratory infection, but other than that, he is the perfect kitty. I am glad I took him home, and I am glad Spawn found a nice home. Number of times scratched: noneReading: nothing Listening to: "Nothing Else Matters" Metallica <-//->
